De La Soul were the first rap group I ever got into, deep in the hood of Rochdale the rest kind of passed me by. Once I’d heard “3 ft high and rising” in the park on my mate’s stereo, I was hooked and borrowed the tape that night.
Anyway – they’ve got a new project coming out in March called “Are you in”, in collaboration with Nike. This isn’t from it, but it is a pretty ace version of the ATCQ track “Excursions” with De La and Q-Tip.
