Our friends over at Stay Free welcome legendary NY disco DJ Nicky Siano to Manchester for the very last time THIS Sunday ( 5th April) to play in a bar in Chorlton, Manchester, starting in the afternoon with support from Luke Unabomber and the Stay Free residents. All sounds rather good eh? Heres what SF head honcho Adam H has to say, followed with all the details you need to know….

I am very happy and privileged to announce that on Sunday April 5th, the man like Nicky Siano of the legendary ‘Gallery’ parties New York City circa 1972-1977 is coming back to Manchester.

Now I appreciate that this is very short notice but with your support this will be a very special night. Since The Electric Chair shut me and the gang haven’t be going out much, either through work and partly due to this bloody recession.

However, this is something that we thought what ever the expense we shouldn’t let it get away because the party people of Mancunia deserve it and we don’t get enough of this sort of thing.

The enthusiastic Lee at The Dulcimer has kindly granted us permission to host this party and the use of those Klipschorn Speakers which will have had some extra tweaking i have been told. Expect it to be super intimate & super disco.

Nicky has played for us once before and he ripped it to shreds (thanks to those who came down, it was a classic night). He is retiring this year so he isn’t gonna come play in these parts again.

Therefore please get involved on this one and I’m sure it will be one of those nights to remember.
