Hey up.

So – first off, massive, massive thanks to Pete Haigh for playing a brilliant set at NC the other week. I know that EVERY night says how great their guest was, etc, but I can genuinely say he played one of the best sets of 2009 at NC, and was a lovely guy to boot. I did record it, but it hasn’t turned out very well (bollocks), so unless I can salvage something over the holidays you’ll just have to imagine great music in your head for 2 hours to make up for it.

Second – big big thanks to everyone who’s played at or attended one of our sessions this year; big up your chests Al Kent, Marc Rowlands, Andrea Trout, Lil’Minx, That Amazing Thing, DOMU, Illum Sphere, Darren Laws, Firdos, Andy Madhatter, Colin Curtis, Hewan Clarke and Pete Haigh. Big up the other residents too, catcalledmorris, Andy Vee, Sad Eagle and Treva Whateva. Thanks to all at the Sally too. When I look at the list I’m proud that we’ve put all these great DJs on for free in a little pub in Manchester; its not always been the busiest but it has always been good. And – I forgot – but massive thanks to Elisabeth for all the great photos, setting up candles and lights, and generally just putting up with me. Love you x

And big thanks to those who have sent me some stuff for the site – too many to mention, but BlackClassical, Chappers, Barrie striker Leach and Kelvin Brown have all sent us some great mixes this year.

Over the holidays; I’m playing at the Electrik bar in Chorlton on the 27th November as warm-up to the Electric Chair at Legends. It’s on from around 3pm I think, I’m playing 8-9 but get down early doors as it’s a great bar, there’s some great djs on and the sausages are good too!
